Alt.Starfleet.RPG (ASR) is an online Star Trek role-play writing club founded in 1991. Its community continues Gene Roddenberry’s storytelling legacy through collaborative adventures set aboard starships, at frontier starbases, and on unfamiliar worlds. Members contribute creative writing, share lively side conversations, and build lasting memories while exploring the club’s imagined future.

ASR provides several ways to take part, including stories connected to the USS Ranger, USS Circe, USS Sagan, and USS Normandy, as well as free threads for broader role-play. The Star Fleet Library offers additional material, while resources for new players help visitors get started. The club also features a Wall of Distinction and Federation News Network content, alongside social media channels for community updates.

Visitors can explore the site’s story and information pages or contact Club Administration with questions. The organization is presented under the Star Fleet Command Visitors Center and includes Star Fleet leadership and operations roles. ASR invites fans to join its ongoing journey into the future through shared, imaginative writing.
