Alt Dressage

Alt Dressage LLC is a horse-first training and lesson program based at WoodMyst Farms in Gilroy, California. Owned and operated by Kyla Sneddon, the program welcomes adults and children who want to develop their riding and deepen their understanding of horses. Lessons and training are available to riders across disciplines, from those beginning dressage to those working toward higher-level training and competition goals.

Alt Dressage emphasizes biomechanics, responsiveness, and correct, durable basics. Riders learn to understand what is happening in their own bodies, recognize how their choices affect the horse, and develop the awareness and feel to ride thoughtfully. The program aims to help each rider become a responsible and effective presence in the saddle, with skills that can grow from introductory work through the upper levels.

Kyla is a USDF Silver Medalist who regularly competes on the recognized show circuit and pursues continued education with experienced trainers and clinicians.
