Alternative Place 2 Turn is a holistic therapy and wellness practice serving individuals in Westlake Village, Pasadena, Los Angeles, and Joshua Tree, California. The practice provides a supportive setting for healing, personal growth, and self-discovery, with care tailored to each person’s needs, experiences, and pace. Its approach, called Holistic Integral Therapy, brings together psychotherapeutic, somatic, and spiritual modalities to support well-being across mind, body, and spirit.

Founded and led by Dr. Cheri McDonald, PhD, LMFT, the practice draws on her more than 35 years of experience in psychotherapy, trauma care, hypnotherapy, and coaching. Services include EMDR, ketamine-assisted therapy facilitation, hypnotherapy, neurofeedback, relationship and family therapy, teen therapy, walk-and-talk therapy, and executive and life coaching. The practice also offers group coaching, classes, and retreats, including women’s wellness retreats.
