About Alternatives
Alternatives is an organization that has been promoting justice and equity in Quebec, Canada, and around the world since 1994. Their mission is to network, promote, and build innovative initiatives by grassroots and social movements that fight for economic, social, political, cultural, and environmental rights. They focus on advancing tripartite social dialogue to regulate and protect informal economy workers through the development of laws and regulations.
Alternatives also supports Musicians for Palestine and hosts the INM summer school, providing a space for youth development. They offer various opportunities for individuals to get involved, including becoming a member, making a donation, doing an international internship, or volunteering. Alternatives publishes the Alternatives International Journal, an English-language newsletter that reaches around five thousand subscribers each month.
