Altissimo

Altissimo is an Allgäu-based mountain guide team formed by seven independently working guides. The team leads climbing trips, ski tours, mountaineering and high-altitude tours, with some members bringing more than 30 years of professional experience. All Altissimo guides are state-certified mountain and ski guides qualified to the international IVBV standard.

The company offers summer, winter and overseas tours, as well as activities at a forest ropes course and work at height. Each guide has individual areas of expertise, helping match trips to participants and conditions. Clients receive direct, personal advice from their guide, and groups are kept small to support safety and a more individual experience. When weather or conditions are poor, guides can often suggest an alternative destination.

Altissimo also values comfortable accommodation, regional food and respectful engagement with local people, culture and the environment. Its approach combines mountain experiences with professional guidance, personal contact and careful attention to safety.
