Altola AG is a Swiss specialist in the collection, recovery and disposal of hazardous waste. Based in Olten, with additional locations in Zuchwil and Pieterlen, the company serves businesses, industry, municipalities and public-sector organisations. Its aim is to provide personal, sustainable and legally compliant waste-management solutions, supported by expert advice and services tailored to each customer’s needs.

Altola handles a wide range of special waste and, where practical, processes it at its own facilities into secondary materials. It is also Switzerland’s largest processor by volume of substitute fuels. Services include waste treatment and recovery, transport and logistics, waste analysis, container services, site clearances, emergency assistance and training. For municipalities, Altola arranges customised collection services and collection points for household hazardous waste, including used oil, batteries, fluorescent tubes, medicines and paint.

Its transport network combines specialised, approved vehicles, trained drivers and regional logistics partners. Altola also offers a web shop where customers can submit collection requests and order empty containers at any time, independently of office hours.
