Altura

Altura – Sykkelhuset på Høyda is a Norwegian bicycle specialist operated by Altura Sport AS, based in Moss. The company focuses on expert bicycle appraisals for insurance companies, describing itself as Norway’s leading provider of bicycle valuation services. It helps customers navigate the process when a bicycle is stolen or damaged, aiming to make it safe and efficient.

Altura also repairs and paints damaged carbon frames, offering a specialist option that can extend a bicycle’s life and provide an economical, more sustainable alternative to replacement. In collaboration with several of Norway’s largest insurance companies, the business restores and sells used bicycles, giving customers access to refurbished bikes as a practical choice for their budget and the environment.

The company also promotes bicycle sales and workshop expertise. However, its local workshop is currently closed to ordinary bicycle servicing during the high season; workshop visits are by appointment. Altura is located at Triovingveien 7B in Moss and can be contacted by phone or email for enquiries about its services and used-bike selection.
