Alumni Forwarding provides email forwarding services that help universities maintain a lifelong connection with graduates without the cost of managing full mailboxes. Founded in 2014, the company gives alumni a permanent school-branded email address that forwards messages to their chosen personal inbox. Its service is designed to reduce storage and licensing expenses while allowing graduates to keep their existing addresses during migration.

Universities can set up forwarding in days, using domain configuration and alumni data imported through a web interface, CSV upload, or REST API. The platform works with Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Exchange, and other SMTP systems, and can also route unknown users through existing Google or Office 365 infrastructure. Alumni can update forwarding destinations through a self-service portal, while administrators manage accounts through the portal or API.

Alumni Forwarding highlights SOC 2 Type II certification, email authentication, phishing protection, and security documentation for institutional procurement. Its services also include dedicated onboarding, migration support, SSO/SAML integration, custom development, SIEM log exports, and 24/7 technical support.
