Das Vermessungsbüro Alves wurde im Jahr 1979 von Klaus Alves in Quakenbrück gegründet, damals noch in der Friedrich-Ebert-Straße 15. Anfangs im Alleinbetrieb mit familiärer Unterstützung, wuchs das Büro von Jahr zu Jahr, bis mit 26 Mitarbeitern der bisherige Höchststand erreicht wurde. Zwischenzeitlich wurde das neue Bürogebäude in der Danziger Straße 17 errichtet und im Jahr 1983 eingeweiht. Das Berufsbild des Vermessers unterliegt immer auch der aktuellen technischen Entwicklung. Es kamen die "bezahlbaren" PCs, sowie elektrooptische Geräte und zuletzt das Global Positioning System, kurz GPS, auf. Im Büro wurden solche neuen Techniken sehr schnell in die Arbeitsprozesse eingebunden und stetig optimiert. Im Jahr 2012 ist Jens Alves in das Büro eingestiegen und führt nun den Löwenanteil der Vermessungen durch. Damit ist das Büro heute sehr modern aufgestellt und unsere Mitarbeiter können nahezu alle Wünsche umsetzen.
