Always Azul Pottery is a Colorado pottery studio and shop offering handmade, functional ceramic pieces with distinctive glazes and designs. Founded by Alan, who moved to Cotopaxi in 1971 and established a pottery studio, the brand has a long-standing connection to creating pottery in the region. Each piece is crafted by hand, giving items individual character while keeping them practical for everyday use.

The collection includes mugs, travel mugs, bowls, pitchers, jars, butter dishes, and other kitchen and gift items. Designs feature nature-inspired imagery such as elk, horses, hummingbirds, dragonflies, and mountain scenes, alongside non-patterned glazed options. Customers can browse best sellers, shop by glaze and pattern, and find gifts through the online store. Always Azul also participates in retail shows and offers pottery retreats for people interested in learning the craft.

The business is recovering from a fire that damaged its home, retail store, warehouse, and shipping department. Its studio was spared, and orders have begun shipping again at a slower pace.
