About ADI
Alzheimer's Disease International (ADI) is a global federation of Alzheimer and dementia associations, working to tackle dementia at all levels. With over 100 members, ADI empowers associations to advocate for dementia as a national priority, raise awareness, and provide care and support for individuals and their caregivers. ADI's vision is centered around risk reduction, timely diagnosis, care, inclusion, and ultimately finding a cure for dementia.
Their initiatives include capacity building, policy advocacy, research, partnerships, and accreditation. By focusing attention on dementia globally, ADI aims to maintain it as a global health priority, influence policy, and drive innovation in dementia research. Founded in 1984 by Alzheimer associations in the USA, UK, Australia, and Canada, ADI operates as a nonprofit organization with offices in London and Jakarta.
