AMADPOC (African Migration and Development Policy Centre) is a reputable and independent research consultancy firm established in 2008 by the late Professor John Oyaro Oucho, a distinguished expert in migration and population studies. With over 40 years of experience, Professor Oucho identified gaps in capacity, resources, and knowledge in the field of migration in Kenya and the East African region, leading to the creation of AMADPOC. AMADPOC's primary focus is on the migration-development nexus within sub-Saharan African countries' relations with the North and the rest of the South.

They conduct policy-oriented research, training, and capacity building to inform policy processes and facilitate dialogue events on various migration-related issues. AMADPOC also provides a platform for emerging migration experts to develop their skills and voice their perspectives. Working with a team of dedicated experts, including Dr.
