Amala is a dance and bodywork practice led by Amala, a 5Rhythms® teacher and body therapist. Its central offering is movement as a way to connect with the body, heart, and emotions. In 5Rhythms® classes and workshops, participants explore five qualities of movement through free-form dance. Amala also offers Open Floor Movement, encouraging people to include thoughts, feelings, and physical sensations in their expression.
Alongside group sessions, Amala provides body-oriented individual support to help clients explore personal concerns and connect with their strengths and resources. The therapy offering includes approaches such as Therapy in Motion, Internal Family Systems (IFS) and systemic work, Moving-Parts, bodywork, and massage. Events may also combine ecstatic dance, movement meditation, live music, and rituals.
Courses, workshops, seminars, and individual sessions are held in Stuttgart and at venues in other locations, including Munich, Karlsruhe, and the Allgäu. Amala’s website features event listings, articles, videos, and a newsletter with updates about upcoming courses and workshops.
