Amanda Gagnon Dog Training is a New York City dog-training organization serving Manhattan, with a long-standing presence on the Upper West Side since 2009. Its approach centers on the bond between dogs and people, treating behavior challenges as conflicts in needs rather than signs that either dogs or owners are broken. The team helps clients build positive relationships and thrive together in shared spaces.
Services support puppies, adult dogs, owners, and aspiring dog professionals. Puppy offerings include classes, socials, private training, day school, and a free online community. Dog owners can access free trainer Q&A sessions, group classes, private training, day school, dog walks, playgroups, and seasonal Flex Clubs. The organization also provides professional development through apprenticeships, shelter and rescue training, and resources for veterinarians. Amanda Gagnon mentors dog-training apprentices and speaks to organizations in the field. With a caring, practical emphasis on education and support, the business aims to help people understand their dogs and make everyday care more manageable.
