About Amani Festival
The Festival Amani, a three-day celebration of dance and music for sustainable peace in the Great Lakes region, is a renowned event in Goma. The 10th edition of the festival, initially scheduled for February 16-18, 2024, has been postponed to June 2024 due to ongoing efforts to address security and humanitarian needs in North Kivu. The theme for this edition is "Volunteerism in Service of the Community," honoring the countless volunteers who have made the festival a success over the past decade.
