Amaral Triathlon

Amaral Triathlon is a Curitiba-based training team with roots in the city’s early triathlon community. Founded in 1990 by Escola de Natação Amaral instructors Josemar Richter and Valter Maione, the team grew from a local race combining swimming, cycling and running. It continues to draw on more than 35 years of experience, with coaches Valter Maione, Ana Elisa and Battu guiding athletes at different stages of their training.

The team offers personalized plans shaped around each person’s needs, preferences and approach to sport. Athletes can choose coaching for all three disciplines, two disciplines, or a single discipline from swimming, cycling and running. Swimming sessions may take place at Escola de Natação Amaral or at another location selected by the athlete; cycling and running guidance, and training in other chosen formats, is provided through plans. Pool sessions run on scheduled weekdays, while cycling and running arrangements are coordinated with the coaches.
