Amare Afscheidsfotografie is a funeral and farewell photography service run by Mirjam van Valen–Oskam, based in Breda and serving the surrounding region, including Tilburg, Waalwijk, Dordrecht and Roosendaal. The brand helps families preserve meaningful moments from a loved one’s farewell through discreet, respectful photography that does not interrupt the ceremony. Mirjam consults with relatives beforehand and can coordinate with the funeral director using the service schedule.

Coverage options range from a ceremony to multiple farewell moments, potentially spread across several days, with additional hours available. Each package includes professional photo editing, digital images on a USB stick, a slideshow-style video of selected photographs and a professionally produced album. Album size and design can be tailored, and the finished photographs are generally delivered within two weeks.

Mirjam aims to work unobtrusively, using a quiet camera and dressing appropriately for the occasion. Based in Breda, she can also help arrange a photographer elsewhere in the Netherlands if she is unavailable or the family lives beyond her usual service area
