The Amateur Football League is an Irish soccer organisation founded in Dublin on 23 May 1954 to provide competitive football for amateur players. Today, it caters exclusively for players over 35 and describes itself as Ireland’s largest league at this level. The League is administered on behalf of its members by voluntary officials, who aim to manage its affairs impartially.

Its programme is organised across Premier Division and numbered North and South divisions, with participating clubs competing in a structured league season. The League’s website provides practical information for players, clubs and other stakeholders, including fixtures, a calendar, results, league tables and disciplinary updates. It also publishes referee allocations and League documents, and offers access to its Connect & COMET platform and a secretaries’ book.

Visitors can find contact details and make a payment through the site. The organisation says it seeks to work with stakeholders, develop its activities and embrace change to support a successful future for the League and its members
