Avenir Muretain Basket-ball (AMBB) is a community basketball club based in Muret, France. Founded in 1960, it brings together more than 180 members across 11 teams, from under-seven players to senior athletes. The club describes itself as a family united by a passion for basketball, with volunteers helping to support its activities.
AMBB offers a pathway from introductory basketball to competitive play. Its U7–U11 basketball school gives young players their first experience of the sport, with trained coaches, a French Basketball Federation label and Saturday morning events. Older players can join youth and senior teams, including a men’s first team competing at regional level. The club also shares team fixtures, match results, standings and news, and hosts home games at Salle Alizé in Muret, with free entry advertised for some match weekends.
Beyond its teams and training, AMBB connects with local supporters and partners through its website, news updates and club shop. It invites businesses to explore partnership opportunities and encourages residents to follow the club’s activities throughout the season.
