Ambos Restaurant

Ambos is a Paris restaurant founded by chefs Cristina Chomet Tejeda and Pierre Chomet, whose name means “both” in Spanish. Located at 38 Rue de Vaugirard in the 6th arrondissement, opposite the Senate and Luxembourg Gardens, it brings together the two chefs’ backgrounds in a warm, welcoming setting. Their cooking is described as free of borders but rooted in tradition: French foundations meet influences from Brittany, Venezuela and South America, Spain, Italy, Provence, and Thailand. The approach is one of union rather than fusion.

Guests can choose from a menu or four tasting menus, ranging from a three-course lunch option at €48 to a nine-course dinner experience at €135. Other tasting menus offer five or seven courses, and food-and-wine pairings are available. Vegetarian dishes are identified on the menu. The restaurant also offers a chef’s table for six to eight guests in its vaulted cellar, as well as counter seating facing the open kitchen. Ambos accepts reservations online, by phone, or by email, and gift vouchers are available.
