AMB – Academia Maia/Brenha is a sports association founded in 2010 by Olympic volleyball players Miguel Maia and João Brenha. Based in Portugal, it aims to bring people of all ages closer to volleyball through sport, learning and shared experiences. Its work began with an indoor volleyball school for children aged 6 to 12 and has grown to include youth and adult programs and events.

The association organizes the AMB Volleyball Cup, an international youth tournament that has developed into a summer volleyball festival, welcoming teams from Portugal and countries around the world. For experienced and former players, AMB also runs the AMB Master indoor event. Its beach volleyball offering includes a summer school for children and young people, as well as AMB Master Beach Volley and AMB Legends events celebrating former athletes and volleyball champions.

Alongside competition, AMB creates opportunities for participants to learn from sports figures and build friendships across generations and cultures. Its programs promote volleyball, personal development and lasting connections through the sport.
