About AmCham Uganda
AmCham Uganda, short for the American Chamber of Commerce in Uganda, is a member-based organization dedicated to fostering cultural understanding and cooperation between Ugandan and American businesses. Founded in 2008 by American investors in Uganda, AmCham Uganda aims to promote strong commercial, economic, and trade ties between the two countries, as well as facilitate investments in Uganda. Membership in AmCham Uganda is open to American firms, multinationals, and local firms with strong business ties to the United States.
With over 50+ of the country's top-performing firms as members, AmCham Uganda provides a platform for sharing business opportunities, new investments, and cross-cultural exchange. The organization organizes monthly events for the benefit of its members, offering networking opportunities and industry insights.
