AMDISA, the Association of Management Development Institutions in South Asia, has been promoting management education and development activities since its establishment in 1989. As an international not-for-profit association, AMDISA serves as a network for over 300 institutional members across South Asia. It facilitates the exchange of experience and ideas through inter-institutional collaboration, forums, and a scholarly academic journal, the South Asian Journal of Management.

AMDISA is also known for its pioneering initiative, the South Asian Quality Assurance System (SAQS), an internationally recognized accreditation program for business schools. SAQS ensures quality improvement, assurance, and continuous development in management education. Currently, 31 schools have been granted accreditation, while 11 schools have been granted re-accreditation.

Additionally, AMDISA publishes a newsletter and organizes biennial South Asian Management Forums, providing a platform for interaction among academics and business leaders.
