The American Climate Corps (ACC) is a groundbreaking initiative launched by President Biden, aimed at mobilizing a diverse new generation to combat climate change and environmental injustice. Building on the legacy of Franklin D. Roosevelt's Civilian Conservation Corps, the ACC provides young Americans with vital workforce training and hands-on skills to tackle two of the most pressing challenges of our time.
The mission of the ACC is to empower individuals from all backgrounds to contribute to a sustainable, climate-resilient future in their communities and across the nation. Participants in the program will engage in various projects aimed at clean energy and conservation, helping to transform local environments and foster resilience against climate impacts.
The ACC represents an opportunity for young leaders to make a tangible difference while preparing for careers in clean energy and environmental stewardship. By joining the American Climate Corps, individuals can take part in a national movement committed to building a just and thriving world for all.
