American Grunt Taxidermy is a veteran-owned and operated taxidermy studio located in New Jersey. Founded by owner Mark Hennion, an active hunter, fisherman, and trapper, the business combines wildlife artistry with an understanding of the outdoor experiences its customers want to preserve. Mark has practiced taxidermy since 2014 and graduated from Rinehart Taxidermy School and Western Pennsylvania School of Taxidermy.
The studio specializes in North American mammals, birds, and fish, creating detailed, competition-style mounts and replicas with quality materials at reasonable prices. Services include mounts for hoofed mammals, birds, small game, fish, and bears, as well as European mounts, rugs, tanning, remounts, novelties, skull dipping, and repairs and restorations. Fish offerings include real and reproduction mounts for freshwater and saltwater species, while bird mounts can be customized in poses such as flying, landing, or taking off. American Grunt Taxidermy aims to help hunters and anglers preserve meaningful memories and offers a 10% discount on taxidermy products to veterans, active-duty law enforcement officers, and first responders with credentials.
