American Montessori is a family-owned provider of private Montessori childcare, serving families in Burnsville, Apple Valley, and nearby Minnesota communities for more than 30 years. Its small centers are located in residential neighborhoods and offer a nurturing setting where children can grow and learn at their own pace. The schools serve infants and toddlers through preschool, pre-kindergarten, and kindergarten, with AMI-certified Montessori teachers supporting children’s development.

The 0–3 Montessori Children’s House encourages infants and toddlers to explore, build confidence, and develop independence through activities suited to their needs. For ages 3–6, the Children’s House offers hands-on learning, opportunities to work with others, and experiences that support critical thinking and readiness for future education. American Montessori also provides activities beyond the classroom, including sports, music, dance, and chess, giving children opportunities to explore interests and develop creativity, teamwork, discipline, physical skills, and social abilities.

The schools are enrolling infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Families can contact American Montessori to learn more or arrange a tour at its Burnsville or Apple Valley location.
