AMERICAN SpiralWeld Pipe is a product line of AMERICAN, also known as American Cast Iron Pipe Company, serving infrastructure markets in the United States and around the globe. It manufactures spiral-welded steel pipe for municipal water and wastewater transmission, industrial, hydroelectric and power applications. Its offerings also support treatment plants and pump stations, including large-diameter fabricated piping.
The product range includes line pipe, plant piping, pilings and casing, joints, linings, coatings, fittings and special fabrications. For line work, AMERICAN supplies pipe in diameters from 30 to 144 inches, with joint lengths up to 50 feet. Its plant piping is designed for standards-compliant, larger-diameter applications, and its structural pipe is typically manufactured to ASTM A252, ASTM A139, or ASTM A1097; some projects specify AWWA C200.
