American Street Edge

American Street Edge LLC is a self-defense and martial arts school based in St. Clair, Missouri, offering practical training for children and adults. Founded and taught by Timothy J. Fancher, a fourth-degree black belt in American Kenpo Karate with decades of martial arts, law enforcement, and instructional experience, the school emphasizes personal protection, awareness, discipline, and confidence rather than sport competition.

Children ages 6 to 12 attend approximately 45-minute classes, with a flexible ten-lesson punch card that allows families to start at any time. Adults aged 13 and older can join group classes featuring American Kenpo techniques, realistic scenario practice, situational awareness, predator psychology, pre-fight indicators, verbal de-escalation, and boundary setting. Adults begin with an individual assessment lesson; group training is subject to physical readiness. The school also offers a limited three-month private lesson package for those seeking a less physically demanding option.

American Street Edge’s broader expertise includes women’s self-defense, children’s abduction prevention, street safety, active-shooter training, and church security seminars.
