America’s Health Rankings

America’s Health Rankings is a health data and research platform produced by the United Health Foundation. It provides the nation’s longest-running state-by-state analysis of health, offering actionable insights intended to inform public policy, research and news reporting. The platform draws on more than 50 data sources and covers over 250 measures, organizing information by health topic and enabling users to examine individual states or compare multiple states.

Its resources include state data, health-topic comparisons, downloadable datasets, maps and state summaries. America’s Health Rankings also publishes detailed reports on key populations, including its annual report, the Senior Report and the Health of Women and Children Report. These publications assess health outcomes and their drivers, track changes over time, and highlight both progress and continuing challenges.
