Ames Design is a research-driven design practice focused on advancing human wellbeing through sensory-aware education, products, and interiors. Guided by the idea of designing a kinder world, the studio brings together research, intuition, and empathy to shape how people experience the built environment. Its work is grounded in values including accessibility, sustainability, evidence, community, trust, and care for detail.

The studio offers educational experiences, including continuing education courses, lectures, and talks on design futures. Its product work explores colors, materials, and finishes that communicate stories, while its interiors practice creates immersive spaces designed to engage the senses. Projects include workplace design, experience centers, and trade-show booths and launches.

Ames Design’s process spans research and exploration through development, implementation, and measurement, using evidence and creative insight to inform each project. The team includes designers, researchers, and communications specialists, and collaborates with brands and clients. The practice is registered in Georgia and identifies among its affiliations and credentials a Women Business Enterprise, WELL AP and WELL Faculty membership, and involvement with the American Society of Interior Design.
