The Amgen Biotech Experience (ABE) is an international science education program that helps secondary school teachers bring biotechnology into the classroom. Its focus is scientific discovery through hands-on learning, supported by teacher professional development, curriculum materials, and research-grade equipment and supplies. ABE enables educators to introduce students to biotechnology using resources designed for classroom use, while connecting teachers with local program sites and staff for further information.

The program operates through locations across the world, including sites in Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Mexico, the Netherlands, Singapore, South Africa, Türkiye, the United Kingdom, and the United States. In the United States, listed program sites include Central Ohio, Greater Los Angeles, Illinois, Kentucky, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, San Diego, the San Francisco Bay Area, and Tampa. ABE is funded by the Amgen Foundation, with direction and technical assistance from Education Development Center (EDC). Its program-site hub helps visitors find local websites and contact information.
