AMGNV

The Mexican Association of Natural Gas Vehicles (AMGNV) is a civil, inclusive nonprofit founded in 2014 to support the development of Mexico’s vehicle-fuel sector. Its work evolves with the market and focuses on natural gas for vehicles (GNV), compressed natural gas (GNC), liquefied natural gas (GNL), and biogas. AMGNV promotes these fuels as part of Mexico’s energy transition, highlighting their potential environmental and economic advantages, including lower emissions and fuel costs.

The association brings together organizations and businesses across the sector. Members can participate and vote in assemblies, join networking meetings and communication groups, and contribute to working groups examining industry challenges and opportunities. AMGNV also provides institutional representation, supports engagement with government, helps identify sector needs and connect them with member companies, and promotes members’ services through its communication channels.

For drivers and industry participants, the association offers information about GNV service stations across Mexico and shares news, interviews, and media coverage related to cleaner mobility, fuel costs, regulation, and energy developments.
