Associazione "Amici Di Edo ODV”

Amici di Edo OdV is a volunteer organization based in Pizzighettone, in the province of Cremona, Italy, dedicated to improving the lives of people with disabilities and their families. Founded in 2009, it grew from the experience of parents and friends who joined forces to support a child with a severe disability and share practical help with other families facing similar challenges.

The association promotes active listening, inclusion and community solidarity. It works to support people with disabilities, recognize their place in local life, and reduce the isolation families can experience. Its approach brings together volunteers, professionals, parents, educators, schools, social services and other local organizations to build a connected network of assistance.

Amici di Edo also aims to help families navigate needs such as school inclusion, finding specialists and handling administrative procedures. It raises awareness through public initiatives, including the Marcia per Edo, a charitable event open to participants at their own pace, and involvement in volunteer events.
