Through information, practical assistance and community initiatives, it works to help patients and their families navigate treatment and everyday life. Its resources cover disease information, living with IBD, pediatric care and specialized treatment centres, while its news and educational projects address topics such as nutrition, therapies, psychological wellbeing, patients’ rights and the transition from pediatric to adult care.

Members can access free, personalized online consultations with specialists, including gastroenterologists, pediatricians, surgeons, dietitians, psychologists, nurses and experts on social protections. AMICI Italia invites people to join, volunteer and support its work through donations and Italy’s 5x1000 tax contribution.
