The Big Book of Amiga Hardware (BBoAH) was once the largest online reference for Amiga hardware, serving enthusiasts and collectors alike. Founded in January 1999, it provided a comprehensive database of Amiga hardware, detailing specifications and compatibility for various expansions and components. The site remained an essential resource until its original maintenance ceased in September 2006.

However, the Amiga community continued to uphold its legacy, with multiple alternative sites emerging to keep the information alive. Notably, these include a version maintained by Steen Jessen and a German edition managed by the Amiga Resistance Team. Although the original site was officially shut down in April 2013, its spirit endures through these continued efforts.

For further inquiries, users can still reach out to Ian Chapman via email. The Big Book of Amiga Hardware remains a pivotal resource for anyone seeking to explore the fascinating world of Amiga systems and their hardware
