AmigoReal Chihuahuas

AmigoReal is a Dogs New Zealand registered Chihuahua kennel based in Christchurch, New Zealand. Founded in 2016, the home-based breeding programme takes its name from the Spanish phrase meaning “Royal Friend,” reflecting the breed’s companionship and character. The dogs are cherished as family members, and each litter is planned with attention to health, temperament, soundness, structure and correct breed type.

Prospective breeding dogs are carefully selected, with pairings assessed for health, pedigree and the qualities each dog may contribute. Breeding dogs undergo DNA testing and relevant veterinary screening, with results shared on their profiles and with puppy families. Puppies are raised hands-on using Puppy Culture principles, with early experiences designed to encourage confidence and adaptability.

AmigoReal provides information about its dogs, pedigrees, health results and past litters, and offers available puppies and stud services. Its verified Breed Archive profile gives visitors another way to research pedigrees, offspring, test results and inbreeding levels.
