AMK Petrovice

AMK Motokros Petrovice u Karviné is a Czech motorsport club focused on motocross, based at the Petrovice Kotlina track. Founded in 1976 as part of a Svazarm organization, the club built its motocross circuit in 1977 and held its first event in March 1978. It became an independent club in 1990 and has since organized motocross events, including a 1981 Czechoslovak Championship race and the country’s first indoor race in 1986.

The club hosts the Slezský MX Cup, a series for riders across a range of ages and experience levels. Classes include 65cc and 85cc, amateur MX1 and MX2, veterans, hobby, licensed intermediate riders, women, and classic motorcycles built before 1995. The rules also allow riders to compete without a licence in all classes, with race officials able to move participants to a higher category.

AMK Petrovice offers track training on Thursdays from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. and runs MX School Petrovice, providing motocross instruction for children aged nine and older.
