Ammedoula provides pregnancy and birth support in Maastricht and the wider South Limburg region. Doula Tessa offers warm, practical guidance grounded in knowledge, empathy, humor, and an open-minded approach, helping expectant parents prepare for birth and feel supported throughout the experience. Her services are available in fluent English as well as Dutch.
The basic doula package includes several preparation conversations, ongoing contact by WhatsApp, continuous support during labor, and a post-birth visit. Around six weeks later, Tessa meets with the family again and shares a written account of the birth. An extended package can include an additional meeting, a back, neck, and shoulder massage, accompaniment to an appointment with a midwife or gynecologist, and, when needed, overdue-pregnancy or breech consultations.
Clients can also arrange individual consultations focused on birth preparation or a birth plan, or seek information and guidance on breastfeeding and pumping, safe co-sleeping, babywearing, and referrals to local professionals.
