About Association of Malaysian Optometrists
The Association of Malaysian Optometrists (AMO) aims to be the leading organization representing optometrists in delivering excellent eye and vision care to Malaysians. Their mission is threefold: to advocate for and protect the rights of optometrists in Malaysia, to connect optometrists through a trusted platform, and to educate the public on quality eye care. Established in 1984 with over 1000 members, AMO consists of university-trained professionals who excel in eye examination, eye structure, biochemistry, optics, pharmacology, and more.
