The Amarillo Museum of Art (AMoA) is a renowned regional art facility located in Amarillo, Texas. Since its establishment in 1967, AMoA has been dedicated to enriching the lives of the diverse people of the Texas Panhandle area through art exhibitions, education, and collections. Initially known as the Amarillo Art Center, the museum aimed to provide quality visual arts programming to the residents of the Texas Panhandle, eastern New Mexico, and western Oklahoma.

In 1972, the museum moved to its current home, a visually stunning complex designed by renowned architect Edward Durrell Stone. AMoA boasts an impressive permanent collection of over 1800 works, encompassing both Asian and Western art, with a focus on modern and contemporary American art. The museum prides itself on presenting approximately fifteen art exhibitions every year, showcasing original works in various media, periods, and styles.

In addition to exhibitions, AMoA offers a wide range of educational programs and events, including lectures, gallery talks, art classes, outreach to schools, teacher in-service programming, collaborations with local cultural organizations, and Family Days. The museum also supports and promotes local and regional artists through various initiatives.
