About Amos Andersons fond rf
Amos Anderson's Hem in Helsinki is a brand that offers a unique and engaging experience for art and culture enthusiasts. Step into the past and explore the magnificent home of the prominent art patron and businessman, Amos Anderson (1878–1961), located at Georgsgatan in the heart of Helsinki. After careful restoration, the home has been transformed back to its original 1920s form.
Amos Anderson's Hem showcases a remarkable collection of Finnish art from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, as well as a selection of European art from the 16th to 18th centuries, reflecting Amos's taste for older European art. The museum consists of four rooms on the fifth floor of the building, and also includes a chapel with an organ. Guests are welcome to visit, but are kindly requested to book a visit time in advance.
