Amplify Independence

Amplify Independence is an occupational therapy service based in Horsham, supporting adults across the Wimmera and Southern Grampians. The service works with adult NDIS participants who are self-managed or plan-managed, providing tailored support to strengthen independence and overall well-being. Its approach is focused on helping each person pursue their own goals and live life as fully as possible.

Services include identifying and adapting equipment and assistive technology to support participation, comfort, safety, and independence. Amplify Independence also assesses homes for minor or complex modifications and can help clients apply for funding to improve accessibility. Comprehensive assessments and reports, including functional capacity assessments, are available to inform funding and support decisions in line with individual needs. Through task analysis and skill-building, the service helps clients adapt everyday activities and develop skills for personal care, household tasks, community participation, and recreation.
