Arizona Model Pilots Society (AMPS) is a model aviation club established in 1980 and based at Adobe Dam Regional Park in Arizona, where it operates as a concessionaire of Maricopa County. The society describes itself as Arizona’s premier model aviation flying field and is an AMA Gold Chartered club and an FAA-recognized identification area (FRIA). AMPS supports radio-controlled model aircraft pilots through its flying field, membership program, club meetings, and community activities.

Members and guests can find information about joining, visitor requirements, club rules, field directions, weather, meeting minutes, and the club’s history and photographs. The organization also hosts air shows and public events, including seasonal fun-fly gatherings and an electric-aircraft event supporting the U. S.

Marine Corps Reserve’s Toys for Tots program. AMPS promotes safe flying practices, such as announcing takeoffs and landings and giving priority to dead-stick aircraft. Pilots flying at the field must meet the club’s stated membership, FAA registration, aircraft marking, and TRUST safety-test requirements
