Ampuvalia is a Mexican nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting people living with limb loss and strengthening the amputee community. Its work responds to the challenges many people face in rehabilitation, adapting to life after amputation, and accessing prostheses. Through its 3P Prosthesis Provision Project, developed in partnership with InIAT, Ampuvalia aims to support rehabilitation, empower participants, and help restore mobility.
The organization also offers accompaniment and community support, shares practical information through its AmpuTips and educational guide, and publishes stories that encourage understanding and inclusion. Its resources are intended for people who have experienced limb loss as well as their families and support networks. Ampuvalia organizes community events, including Campuvalia, described on its site as the first camp for amputees in Latin America, and promotes fundraising and other ways to contribute.
It also offers the cause-related book Mujeres Dreams Boss Mujeres Amputadas, featuring interviews with 33 women from more than 10 countries
