Amref Health Africa Switzerland

Amref Health Africa Switzerland supports Amref Health Africa, an African health non-governmental organisation working with communities in more than 40 countries. Guided by the belief that health is a human right and a foundation for a brighter future, Amref partners with local communities to strengthen health systems sustainably and connect people with life-saving care. Its work focuses on training and supporting health workers, preventing disease through improved access to water, pioneering healthcare, addressing climate and health, and advancing the wellbeing of women and girls.

Established in 2025, Amref Health Africa Switzerland raises funds and builds partnerships to support this work across the continent. Donations can be made as one-time or monthly gifts, helping fund community-led health initiatives and access to care. The organisation emphasises lasting change driven by people in their own communities. In 2025, Amref Health Africa reported directly supporting 25 million people across 43 African countries, the majority of them women and girls.
