AMR Fishing

AMR Fishing offers guided fishing trips in North Karelia, Finland, led by fishing guide and chef Anssi Ryhänen. Based around Joensuu, excursions explore local waters including Lake Pielinen, Lake Höytiäinen and Kontiolahti. Trips are designed for private groups, families, couples, friends and businesses, and welcome both beginners and experienced anglers. They can be arranged as a gift, a celebration activity, a team day or a relaxed outdoor experience.

Guests can choose from several six-hour fishing packages: jig fishing for zander and perch, pike casting, or perch casting. The guide adapts fishing methods and equipment to the group’s experience. Packages for one to three people include guiding, fishing equipment, life jackets, fuel, liability insurance and VAT; larger groups can request a separate quote. Trips are available throughout the open-water season, with guidance in Finnish or English.

As a trained chef, Anssi also offers optional outdoor dining, including set menus of fish dishes and other refreshments, or a meal tailored to the group’s preferences. Guests may alternatively bring their own food.
