One featured product is the Amsense Bike 1003, a compact training bike designed for use while seated in a wheelchair or an ordinary armchair. Its low starting resistance is intended to suit users for whom conventional exercise bikes may be difficult to access or too challenging. The bike has shorter-than-standard 10-centimetre pedal cranks to reduce the required leg movement, a specially designed handlebar to support stable pedaling, and aluminium-alloy heel cups to help secure the feet.
