Amsterdam Stamps is a stamp-dealing business serving collectors around the world. It buys stamp collections from people who want to sell, whether they have assembled a collection over many years or inherited an album. The company offers a free appraisal to help sellers understand the factors that affect a collection’s value. Its appraiser can assess different kinds of stamp collections, including collections of stamps that are still valid for postage, and can visit the seller. After receiving an appraisal, owners can take time to consider their options or proceed with a sale. Amsterdam Stamps says it pays sellers immediately, either in cash or by bank transfer.
The company also sells stamps through weekly eBay auctions, typically offering around 150 to 200 lots of varying sizes. Its listings attract interest from collectors, with each lot receiving views from prospective buyers. Lots are sold to the highest bidder. Amsterdam Stamps also provides a webshop and contact channels for people seeking information about selling, appraisals, or its stamp offerings.
