About Amta
AMTA (Alberta Motor Transport Association) is a not-for-profit association that has been enriching Alberta's transportation industry since 1938. They are the connectors, movers, carriers, and guardians of the highway, dedicated to advancing the commercial transportation industry through safety programs, progressive policies, and partnerships. With a head office in Calgary and a satellite office in Edmonton, AMTA influences every highway in the province.
They offer various membership options for organizations in the trucking and motor coach industries, providing access to top transportation safety training, networking events, lobbying efforts, and industry updates. Safety is at the core of AMTA's mandate, and they design proactive and responsive safety training programs in partnership with Alberta's Worker's Compensation Board.
