Anglesea Motor Yacht Club

Anglesea Motor Yacht Club (AMYC) is a community-focused yacht club located on Melba Parade in Anglesea, Victoria. With a proud history, a coastal setting and an active membership, the club brings together people interested in sailing, fishing and social activities. Affiliated with Australian Sailing, AMYC participates with other coastal yacht clubs and hosts sailing on most Sundays during the summer months. Its members have achieved success in competitions, including State, National and World titles.

Beyond sailing, the club supports a fishing group with regular activities and welcomes surfers, runners and those seeking social connection. Membership applications require nomination by a current member. The club also offers learn-to-sail information and publishes sailing results.

AMYC’s clubhouse, officially reopened in December 2022, combines the character of the former building with improved facilities. These include upgraded kitchen facilities, the Rusty Anchor Bar, a lift, renovated downstairs showers and toilets, and added storage for rescue boats and summer services.
